Thousands of children, generations of families, amateur & professional dancers have passed through the door at 160 Sydenham Street.

Since 1956, the Victoria Carter London Dance Centre continues to offer classes in Classical Ballet, the Vaganova Russian method, as well as Jazz, Tap, Modern, Contemporary Dance, Hip Hop, Endurance & Dance Gymnastics. 

We offer Introductory Programs beginning at age 3, through to Adult Programs in our vintage building with its warm, energetic atmosphere.

Our main floor facilities, with easy access, sprung floors & on-street free parking make it family-friendly.

As a graduate of the National Ballet School of Canada, Victoria Carter, along with a highly qualified staff, offers programs for both amateur & professional students.

The London Dance Centre offers the opportunity to assist parents in finding an activity to stimulate their child & produce competent, self-disciplined, motivated young men & women.

While building self-confidence and personal skills for their futures, it is hoped, students will take forward to the community, the ability to work with others, not merely as competitors, but as colleagues, dedicated to a common goal of creating beauty & pleasure for others.

During our years of operation, former students have gone on to perform professionally in the recognized ballet & dance companies in Canada and internationally.

Former students have successfully entered the teaching profession throughout Canada and the U.S.

The school has also had great success working with students enrolled due to orthopedic referrals, skating, gymnastics coaching recommendations, & students involved with professional theatre & musical careers.
