Schooled in the Russian
method of Classical Ballet at the Victoria Carter London Dance
Centre, Jessica McEwan has been inspired by both the elegant
aesthetic of Victoria Carter and the technical genius of Dorothy
Carter.
Under their careful
tutelage, Ms. McEwan who performed with the London Dance
Centre
for many years, became a qualified teacher through the Canadian
Branch of the Society of Russian Ballet. She is also a
Post Graduate student at the University of Western Ontario.
Jessica McEwan joined the school's teaching staff in 1997.
Bilingual in French, an accomplished musician, Ms. McEwan
aspires not only to provide each young dancer with the opportunity
to explore the technical aspects of ballet, but to guide them
as they develop into confident artists, through her own knowledge
of music and theatre.
